What is the venue capacity?

Harper House can accommodate up to 120 guests comfortably. If you plan to have a DJ and dance floor, the seating capacity is up to [insert number] people. Without a dance floor, the seating capacity increases to [insert number], providing flexibility for different event layouts.

Does Harper House provide furniture and rentals?

We offer 120 white folding chairs and 12 six-foot round tables with your base rental. We also have connections with many trusted vendors in Brandon and Central Florida who can help enhance your event with event decor and rentals. We’re happy to provide recommendations!

Can I bring my own food and decorations?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and decorations! We provide a prep kitchenette for your use during the rental period. We just ask that nothing is hung on the walls or ceiling to protect the integrity of our space. All decorations must be approved by the owner in advance.

How do we reserve the space for our event?

To reserve Harper House for your event, we welcome you to submit an inquiry here. We’ll respond within one to two business days with details on availability, pricing, and more! A signed contract and a deposit are required to officially secure your date.

Can I use my own vendors?

Absolutely! You are welcome to use your preferred vendors. However, all vendors must carry a minimum of business liability insurance, and any caterer or bartender providing services during your event must be approved by the owner. This ensures we maintain the highest standards for all events hosted at our venue.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

For the safety and enjoyment of all our guests, Harper House does not allow BYOB or DIY drinks. Instead, we require that all alcohol be served by a professional bartending company. This allows you and your guests to relax and enjoy the celebration without any worries!

Is there any type of decor that’s prohibited?

For safety and preservation of the venue, the following are prohibited:

  • Open flames or flammable liquids (Sterno heat is okay)

  • Confetti or loose glitter, rice, silly string, fake snow, and loose fake flower petals

  • Nails, command strips, or any adhesives on our walls

  • Fireworks, sparklers, and confetti cannons
